Manchin, Capito Help Dedicate New Coast Guard Facility in Burr Business Park
September 30, 2014
OSC is a government-owned, contractor-operated facility with the primary function of providing full life-cycle support for operationally-focused Coast Guard Automated Information Systems. These systems support the Coast Guard’s five strategic missions: Protection of Natural Resources, National Defense, Maritime Safety, Mobility, and Security.
In addition to the 300 employees at the OSC, the Coast Guard has a larger presence in the Eastern Panhandle, with 176 employees at the National Maritime Center and 65 working at the National Vessel Documentation Center.
The JCDA is pleased to welcome the U.S. Coast Guard to the Burr Business Park.
