Bank of Charles Town Named Platinum Sponsor for 2025 Jumpstart Jefferson Program
Kearneysville, W.Va.— The Jefferson County Development Authority (JCDA) is proud to announce Bank of Charles Town (BCT) as the Platinum Sponsor for the 2025 Jumpstart Jefferson business pitch competition. As a longtime supporter of small business development in Jefferson County, BCT has elevated its commitment to local entrepreneurs by becoming the program’s highest-level sponsor with a $5,000 contribution.
Jumpstart Jefferson is designed to foster entrepreneurial growth and success in Jefferson County by providing educational resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities to new and expanding businesses. Participants will engage in seven educational sessions covering essential topics such as finance, budgeting, credit, insurance, marketing, and business planning. Following these sessions, participants will submit a business plan and pitch their ideas before a panel of judges for a chance to win cash prizes totaling $9,000, including a $5,000 first-place award.
